Located in the village of Brampton, Cambridgeshire, approximately two miles south west of Huntingdon, The Brampton Mill is easily accessible.

Brampton is on a regular bus route to St Neots, Hinchingbrooke, and Huntingdon. The nearest train station is Huntingdon, which is approximately a mile and a half from the village.

Situated in the lovely village of Brampton, there are a whole host of things to see and do in the area surrounding The Brampton Mill. So, whether you’re joining us for lunch, brunch, or an evening meal, why not make a day of it.

Keeping Busy in Brampton

The National Trust site of Houghton Mill is an impressive working 18th century watermill on the banks of the River Ouse. Visit the oldest working water mill on the river and learn about the history of the local area before popping into The Brampton Mill for some well-earned refreshment.

For a brisk walk to blow away the cobwebs or a gentle stroll on a sunny afternoon, Hinchingbrooke Country Park offers 170 acres of open grasslands, mature woodlands, and lakes, along with a play area. It’s the perfect place for families, nature lovers, and walkers to enjoy the great outdoors.

Other attractions in the area include The Cromwell Museum, Johnson’s Farm, Huntingdon Racecourse, and the Manor at Hemingford Grey.

Of course, the many historical wonders of the city of Cambridge are also within easy reach.
